John T. Kucera, Ph.D. (President and CTO)
Dr. Kucera founded
Asperon in July of 1999 to provide internet applications
development infrastructure to the rapidly growing e-business
software industry. Prior to founding the company, Dr. Kucera
spent 3 1/2 years at Oracle Corporation where he most recently
was the director of user interface (UI) technology in the
CRM Division.
Earlier Dr. Kucera was a key contributor to the Oracle
Applications Division's portion of the effort to
convert Oracle's client-server ERP applications to
a thin-client architecture capable of running
over the internet for Oracle Apps release 11i.
He also represented the Applications Division
as a founding member of the Oracle Java coding standards
committee.
Dr. Kucera holds Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in physics from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Solon (Fred) Blundell, Ph.D. (Engineering)
Dr. Blundell holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Boston
University, an M.S. in mathematics from the University of
Alabama, and dual B.S. degrees in mathematics and physics
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Prior to co-founding the company Dr. Blundell
developed custom statistical application software
for road and bridge management at Cambridge Systematics.
Dr. Blundell has taught mathematics
as an assistant professor at Boston University,
and was previously a computer specialist
at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory at
Harvard University.
Dr. Blundell is presently teaching mathematics part time at the
City College of San Francisco.
Arun Mehta (Sales and Business Development)
Mr. Mehta has over 9 years experience in sales, management,
and business development experience in IT software.
Previously he had been a Director of Business Development at
ASMASoft, Inc. where he successfully established strategic
alliances with several software companies in selected vertical
markets, and developed a strategic partnership with TIBCO.
Mr. Mehta holds an M.B.A from M.U.M. in Fairfield, IA,
and a B.S. in electronics from Birla Institute of Technology
in Mesra, India.
